Ovalized chainrings Qrings compact – center distance 110
External Openwork – Black
The Q-Rings reduce the detrimental effect of the dead center thanks to their oval shape. Why use round chainrings when the force you are able to apply over a pedaling cycle is not constant? When the neutral position is reached, the sprocket is on its smallest diameter, making it easier, faster and smoother to shift.
As soon as
you pass the dead center in the pedaling cycle, the diameter of the Q-Ring increases progressively, until it presents the largest development at the moment when your muscles can deliver their maximum power.
Oval crowns already tried to make their way a few years ago, and were widely decried, but don’t be fooled: the Rotor concept is the exact opposite of its ovoid ancestors. In fact, some of the old egg-shaped chainrings offered maximum leverage at neutral (this concept only increased the stress on the muscles and was therefore the opposite of ROTOR’s QRINGS technology). The shape of the Q-Rings is particularly well thought out. Q-Rings will help you gain power, endurance and reduce joint stress on your joints. The results have already convinced a good number of cyclists: more natural pedaling, less fatigue at the end of the race, less traumatized muscles, it’s up to you to try…
