Bottom brackets have several variables, but inside of these the standard CeramicSpeed ? bearings typically have a friction drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. This is in the range of. 75% reduction in drag compared to standard bottom brackets. This is thanks to 100% smoother and 15% harder balls than the ceramic competition. CeramicSpeed ? bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings.
Coated bearings see another big increase in performance. Coated bushings see a 50% reduction in drag and a 60% improvement in bearing life.
Performance can be adjusted by changing the fat. All Round Grease is installed, but can be replaced with low drag TT and Track Grease, or LongLife with superior durability, which adds a bit of drag but stays in place when riding in rough conditions.
